PrismTech and Nextel Engineering Systems Join Forces to Provide Real-Time Data and Messaging Solutions

Nextel Engineering Systems partners with PrismTech to better serve vertical markets across the Iberian Peninsula

Edinburgh, UK – 25 November, 2009 — PrismTech™, a leader in high-performance software integration and infrastructure solutions, is joining forces with Nextel Engineering Systems™, a Spanish systems integrator providing solutions to the Defence, Aerospace, Security and Transport sectors, to deliver much-needed, highly-reliable and Real-Time data management solutions. The key focus of this alliance will be around OpenSplice™ DDS, a high-performance, Real-Time publish/subscribe middleware, which enables Quality-of-Service (QoS) enabled Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and net-centric applications. OpenSplice DDS’s basic kernel is available under Open Source licensing but optional subscription bundles are available from PrismTech that include both professional support and value-adding features and tools.
