OpenSplice DDS Enterprise Edition

The OpenSplice DDS Enterprise Edition is the subscription level for advanced users that have very stringent requirements with respect to system stability under extreme overload condition, security and integration with the enterprise IT world.

The Enterprise Edition provides full support for content-based subscriptions (also known as continuous queries in the CEP domain), data persistence, and transparent fault-management, along with an Object Caching technology allowing you to fill the impedance mismatch between your business objects and the messaging layer. It also features a real-time networking and a traffic spikes absorption technology that ensures priority preemptive and real-time data delivery even over non-real-time transports, such as Ethernet, and under the most extreme overload condition.

A Security plug-in is also available which while maintaing real-time and high-performance messaging, ensures data authentication, integrity and confidentiality, while also providing the ability to control access rights.

In addition, this edition bundles the high value MDE PowerTool, the Tuner, the SOAP- and DBMS-Connectors. The MDE PowerTool is a productivity boosting technology that will let you experience 10x productivity improvements, the Tuner makes it possible for you to easily configure, tune, and inspect a deployed system, the SOAP-Connector allowing you to expose your messaging system to any SOAP-aware application, while the DBMS-Connector enables transparent two way exchanges between the messaging cloud and any ODBC v3.0 compliant database.

The Enterprise Edition is a full, and fully compliant, implementation of the OMG DDS v1.2 (DCPS + DLRL) along with an implementation of the interoperability wire-protocol specified in the OMG DDSI v2.1

Subscriptions are available at Standard, Silver and Gold support levels thus satisfying the needs of users needing regular office hours support up to the need of mission- and business critical users requiring 24x7 support.
